Drumming Up a Rally

Santa Cruz Community Health Centers staff felt inspired to celebrate the success of the Affordable Care Act following the 2016 election. Miller Maxfield stepped in to help plan a community rally with less than 10 days notice. Despite rainy weather, the event drew more than 100 people. Thirteen speakers, including the executive director of Covered California, spoke about the positive impact of the Affordable Care Act and local media covered the rally.
